MeshInterview

Walkthroughs, control testing and investigation interviews with transcription, interviewee consent and artifacts that become risks in MeshRisk.

If your interviews still work like this

  • Interviews written down in a notebook or Word? What was said stays with whoever took notes, and no one finds it later.
  • Every auditor asks differently? With no common script, walkthroughs can't be compared across areas or cycles.
  • Walkthroughs that lead nowhere? The process was understood, but the risks identified never reach the register.
  • An interviewee disputing the summary weeks later? With no record of what was said, each side's version becomes a dispute in the report.

What MeshInterview does

  • A kit for each objective

Process walkthrough, control testing, benchmarking and forensic interview, each with its own kit: script, bookmarks, commitments and data requests.

  • Recording and transcription

Live or from an imported recording, with interviewee consent and corrections that preserve the original text.

  • Artifacts with Mesh Intelligence

Flowchart, narrative and risk × control matrix generated from the transcript, each item linked to its source excerpt.

  • Interviewee by link

The interviewee joins the room through their own link, with no platform account, and consents before recording.

  • From what was said to the register

Risks from the risk × control matrix become records in MeshRisk after the conductor's review.

  • Isolated forensic interviews

Nothing from a forensic interview is promoted to other modules, and transcript corrections keep the original side by side.

From what was said to the register

What came up in the interview reaches the risk register.

Mesh Intelligence builds the risk × control matrix from the transcript, and each item points to the excerpt where it was said. The conductor reviews the suggestion and creates the risk in MeshRisk as the record's author.

Transcription with consent

The interviewee consents, and the conversation becomes text.

Recording and transcription only start after the interviewee consents, which is recorded on the interview. Transcript corrections sit next to the original, which is never overwritten.

Illustrative screens with fictitious data.

Walkthroughs audit accepts as evidence

Transcript, consent and participants are recorded with dates, serving as evidence of process understanding in audit engagements.

The AI summarizes, the conductor decides

Mesh Intelligence generates the flowchart, narrative and risk × control matrix from the transcript, seeing only what the conductor can see. No risk is created without the conductor's review.

  • MeshControlDesign, testing and effectiveness of internal controls, linked to the risks they mitigate.
  • MeshRiskA living risk matrix, linked to the controls that mitigate each risk and the findings that challenge it.

  • MeshForensicInvestigations compartmentalized by construction. Not even the AI layer can see what is inside.

Questions from interviewers

Do I have to record the interview?

No. The interview can be recorded through notes, live transcription or a recording imported afterwards. Recording and transcription only start after the interviewee consents.

Does the interviewee need a license?

No. They join the room through the link they receive, with no platform account, and only access their own interview.

Does it work for investigation interviews?

Yes. The forensic interview has its own kit, with manipulation signals and commitments, and nothing from it is promoted to other modules.

Modules are licensed separately. The platform comes with all of them.
